This badge was designed to make our girls more aware of the Senior Citizens in our community. After this badge is completed, the girls should be able to distinguish between the different medical plans there are, have a better understanding of Geriatrics and finding out in general that Senior Citizens are fun. Our Troop's own: Our State of Massachusetts Badge
This badge was designed to help reinforce the lessons learned in social studies and to also educate our young girls about the history our wonderful State of Massachusetts. There is also a patch program through the Patriot Trails Council in Eastern Massachusetts named "The Freedom Trail" Patch could go hand in hand with our badge.

Our Troop's Own: Let's Can It! Badge
This badge was designed to educate our girls in the art of canning and preserving food. Our world is coming to a point where canning is going to be an essential part of our day to day living. The contents of this badge give the basics of making salsa and applesauce....but the basics are all you need to make any canned good. Let's help our girls learn this art so as they get older, they can pass on what they have learned.
