Girl Scouts of Western Mass Partnership Awards

The Partnership between girls and adults is the cornerstone of a strong Girl Scout program at any age level. This unique award is the ONLY award that girls and adults earn together. Since both girls and adults are equally responsible for strong partnerships, both may wear the same award pin.

The Junior Partnership Award Pin depicts birch bark and and aspen leaf. These tree species are typical "pioneer" species in New England. They need a lot of sunlight to grow and are among the first to appear in a cleared area.

  Home On Your Own Project
This program was designed to educate girls in personal safety and in developing the skills children need to feel secure and spend time meaningfully when they are on their own.

OTHER COUNCIL PATCH PROGRAMS:
B/J/C/S Museum Patch Program
B/J/C/S Traffic Safety Program
B/J Sign Language Program
B/J/C/S Diversity Program
B/J/C/S Picture of Health Program
  World Neighbors Patch
"MANY HANDS MAKE ONE WORLD"
This is a multi-cultural patch program for Junior Troops. The girls get to rollplay and divide into groups to do different projects.

  The Song Patch
This patch maybe earned by and girl at any level of Girl Scouting. With this patch, girls learn the songs in Girl Scouting and their significance in scouting ceremonies and in the Girl Scout Friendship Circle. This is an excellent progam and I feel it should be a part of all of our young girls' lives.
